Ok, so the lazy, hazy days of summer are coming to a close. How are you feeling about your business as we move into the fall? Are you ready to harvest anything - or are you unsure if you’ve even planted anything? Believe me, I know what it feels like to see the end of the year looming and feel like I’m not even close to where I want to be with my business.

When I had my healing business, that’s exactly how I felt that first year. I felt like I was no where near my goal, and it was really dis-heartening.

I always feel a surge of energy in the fall. We’ve had time to play and relax during the summer, and these last few days of August… you can almost feel a buzz of energy amping up. September always feels like a new beginning to me - almost like the beginning of the New Year. For me - the energy of September IS my new year; more-so than January.

I’ve been analyzing the results of the survey that many of you responded to. Wow. You guys were awesome about opening up about business. Thank you so much for your thoughts. I’m going to be summarizing them next week, and I’ll begin writing articles and posts about the findings. There’s still time to add your thoughts to the survey, so if you’d like to do that, it would be greatly appreciated. Some of the responses were surprising. For example, many of you said that you didn’t mind promoting your business - you just weren’t sure how. I’m going to write a post about exactly that in the next couple of weeks.

Another response that was interesting was that a majority of you said you were ready to take your business online so that you could reach more people and find new ways to create income. YAY! As you’ve read from me over the past few weeks I am extremely excited about the internet and the ability it has to help you build your business.

And, as you may have seen, I’m offering a class all about how to create products for your business, and get them online. Another thing I’m really excited about this fall is a partnership with my good friend Katherine. Katherine has developed a phenomenal group coaching program that helps people who feel stuck, or who get caught in self-sabotage… do you ever feel like you are trying everything - absolutely everything - you know how to do to create success and you just can’t get there?
