Hi Jenn,
Thanks so much for getting your readers involved in Anti-Procrastination Month on my blog.

You know, what 'they' say really is true (in my case, anyways): What you most need to learn is what you teach (Sean D'Souza at Psychotactics calls it 'The Impostor Effect' -- and there's nothing wrong with that, by the way!).

You said "I’m incredibly intrigued to see how she plans out her month and what action she takes." Um... well I have to admit that I have not planned out my month of blog posts... You see, planning is a huge reason (excuse) why I procrastinate ("I can't start such-and-such project, because I haven't planned it all out yet!") So, I decided to just go ahead with it. Maybe next year will be a little more organized (no promises)!

BTW, I love Rebecca's idea. It was sort of what I was hoping people would do on my blog (or theirs)!!

I'm really excited to see what you come up with and I look forward to participating.

Back again,

I was writing to someone after commenting here and I realized that another of my big procrastination ploys is being "reactive" to things as they happen, rather than staying on target.

On occasion, I remember to remind myself, "Will what I'm doing, or about to do, forward what I am up to." Might be a good idea to post stickies with that all around my work and living spaces.

Thanks again,

Sheila

Hi Jenn,

I, too, look forward to hearing what you come up with. Somewhere among my thousands of pieces of paper on which I'm procrastinating going through and discarding I have list of 10 Reasons for Procrastination. As I recall, "Perfectionism" is one of them.

To answer your question on "Is there an area on which [we're] procrastinating?" there are many in my life. Probably biggest is [not] writing down actions and goals. I can certainly commit to that, as Cristina suggests, AND to putting the list or book in ONE PLACE where I can find it.

Of course, the first step is the ACT and not procrastinate on the decision of which book, which color and where!

Appreciatively,

Jenn,

I'm really looking forward to what you have to say on this subject! I just posted on Cristina's blog about my spiral notebook that I keep on my computer desk. My grandkids laugh when I tell them it is "my great big book of everything" but it really helps me stay on track and goes a long way in helping to eliminate procrastination.

Yours in networking!

Jenn, I went and posted to Cristina's blog and think it would be a great idea if we all posted our goals on each other's blog for the upcoming week.

I am interested in seeing what you come up with, you always have great ideas!
